Gîte Chez Lamarque is in Ossun, between Lourdes and Tarbes. You can reach the Grotto of Massabielle in a few minutes while staying somewhere peaceful.
Many of our guests come on pilgrimage, often with their parents or grandparents. The house was designed with them in mind: everything they need is on the ground floor, and Hélène is on hand to advise you on service times, processions and visits.
No car? No problem
Ossun station is a 5-minute walk away, with trains to Lourdes. The airport is 5 minutes away.

Step-free entrance, ground-floor bedroom with shower room and WC: no stairs to climb.
For groups and families
Up to 6 guests (7 with the extra bed), a table for 8 and a large kitchen for sharing meals.

How do I get to the Lourdes Sanctuary from the gîte?
By car, allow about 10 minutes to the Sanctuary car parks. Without a car, Ossun station (5-minute walk) has regional trains to Lourdes.
Is the gîte suitable for a group of pilgrims?
Yes, the house sleeps up to 6 (7 with the extra bed), with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The large dining room is perfect for getting together at mealtimes.
Can an elderly person stay without climbing stairs?
Yes: the entrance is step-free, and bedroom 1 on the ground floor has its own shower room and WC.
Can we come for just a few days?
Yes, from 4 nights in low and mid season (April, May, June, September, October). In July and August, the house is let by the week.
